I've met Warren Buffett. I've spoken to him about structured
products. He's astonishingly good," Tavakoli said.
"I would be surprised if he were to touch the financial
guarantors' structured products, given that the underwriting
standards seemed so poor. Berkshire is clear that it is happy
to do zero business when the risk premiums make no sense and
that's something the guarantors didn't learn."
